Emma Ferguson, Founder, Facilitator and Trauma Informed Therapist
BA (Hons) Drama, PGCE, MEd Psychology, MBPsS, MBACP, MNCPS (accr), Cert. Counselling Supervision.
Energy Medicine Practitioner, Grief Educator, Equine Therapist
Humanist Celebrant

“See the shine, not the shit” is how Emma Ferguson chooses to live her life today, but it hasn’t always been that way. Like us all, Em craved a joyful life yet always looked for it in the wrong places.
Mistaking drama and chaos for passion, she avoided truly connecting with the world. Although she was a mother to two young children and worked as a secondary teacher for several years, Em eventually found herself lost in a nightmare of addiction and spiritual bankruptcy.
As she began to seek recovery, Em finally started to find the sense of purpose and passion that she’d always craved and felt compelled to share that with others who were struggling.
After training to become a psychologist and therapist, she gained vast experience working with addicts and their families. Although this work was fulfilling, she knew that she needed more.
Creative expression and a connection with the outdoors and animals are key to Em’s development, and she gained new skills, training and working as a supervising facilitator the Hoffman Institute for 9 years until taking the leap to follow her own joy.
For years she was adept at snatching defeat from the jaws of victory, yet today she lives a mainly joyful life. Through Joy Provision, Em is sharing her experiences, inspiring others to undergo similar amazing change and she would love to offer you the opportunity to do the same.
Emma has also spoken on toxic masculinity at Glastonbury and as a recovering addict sponsors women through the 12 steps, believing the way out of self centredness is to help others.
PIP

We rescued Pip from a basement in Crumpsall. He was very undernourished and extremely nervous. He had a broken tail and big gash on his belly. With lots of love he is now confident and brings loads of joy. As a therapy dog he brings sensitivity, playfulness and calm.
ARTHUR

Arthur is a striking five-year-old traditional black Gypsy Cob with a heart as big as his feathered hooves. With his kind eyes, and steady nature, he carries an old-soul wisdom well beyond his years. Gentle yet full of character, Arthur thrives when working with both children and adults—patiently guiding beginners, offering comfort to those in need, and sharing his playful spirit with everyone he meets.
To Suzie, Arthur is more than just a horse , he was born on the morning her favourite Auntie died after losing her battle with lung cancer. He reflects the strength, resilience, and healing presence we aspire to, while reminding us of the joy in simple connections and being of service to others. Calm but powerful, nurturing yet spirited, Arthur embodies the perfect balance of gentleness and courage, with a little bit of cheeky on the side!
LILY

As a tiny pup at 3 months Lily broke her leg. The advice was to amputate but instead she had an operation and a tiny pin inserted which meant she had to be crated for 4 months. With patience (expense!) and care she is now feisty and fun. Her nickname is Asbo. As a therapy dog she teaches resilience, assertiveness, sassiness and playfulness.

Suzie Creer – Horesmanship and Support Facilitator
Celebrant and Coach,

With a history in sales and livery, Suzie lived in Australia where she learned a lot about simplicity and family. She gained an appreciation of the elements and land. She had a sense of not belonging and she brings this lived experience into her work with others today. She supports many women in recovery as a serving member in AA and offers a warm welcome to everyone she meets. She also likes to don a fancy hat whilst on parade with Arthur. Lively and loyal she gets shit done.
